A leading top tier regional firm are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their busy team in Reading.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded employment team performing a dual role involving client training and PSL support to the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining the team’s knowledge library and precedents.
- Ensuring all documents are kept up to date and are regularly reviewed.
- Monitoring legal developments in employment law and updating and training the team accordingly.
- Co-ordinating internal team training and organising training sessions with external providers.
- Conducting legal research as required.
- Co-ordinating client training.
- Presenting training for clients and conducting public training courses.
- Developing a sales strategy for training products for the employment team.
- Co-ordinating the webinar program and preparing and hosting webinars, podcasts etc.
- Preparing and coordinating online newsletters.
- Preparing quarterly updates for clients.
You will be required to travel to client offices based mainly in Reading and London and this role is likely to be based in the office no more than 1 day a week.
This role is best suited to a qualified employment lawyer looking for a part-time role who is looking to take a step away from fee-earning and a targets-based role.
It is likely you will have at least 3 years PQE and it is essential you have a solid technical understanding of employment law. It is also important that you have strong client care skills and are confident with people.
This is a unique opportunity to blend technical legal expertise with business development and client engagement. You will join a team who are ranked in the Legal 500 for both their employer and senior executive work. The team work with interesting clients on a varied caseload of employment law matters.
