We are representing a leading healthcare firm who are seeking a Regulatory Solicitor to join their busy team in Manchester or Leeds.

Role

You will join a busy team of lawyers ranked in the top-tier by the legal directories acting for a number of regulatory bodies, primarily in the health sector although the team do act for other professions.

You will manage your own caseload involving fitness to practice investigations in relation to misconduct, competence or health issues and preparing those cases for hearings before panels and committees of the relevant regulators.

The work is varied, challenging and rewarding and the cases cover everything from large-scale fraud or multi-patient clinical failings through to inappropriate sexual behaviour.

Candidate

You must be a qualified solicitor with experience in UK regulatory law or will be due to qualify with experience in this area.

It is essential that you have experience in medical regulatory law regarding disciplinary and fitness to practice hearings. Advocacy experience is not essential.
