A leading national law firm are seeking a Contentious Construction Senior Associate to join their busy team in London.
You will join a specialist team who advise on a wide range of construction law advising clients in the private and public institutions, predominantly in health, local government, emergency services and social housing sectors. The team advise on the full range of disputes that arise out of projects including procurement disputes, design and construction disputes, operational disputes and fire safety disputes and termination disputes.
You will focus on complex and high value construction disputes relating to JCT or NEC forms of contracts and will be responsible for your own caseload.
Please apply if you have at least 4 years PQE in contentious construction. You will have had experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team. It is important you have experience of JCT and NEC documents and the various stages of litigation. A good working knowledge of construction contracts is required as well as disputes relating to payment issues, change, defects, termination and professional negligence. You must have experience of dealing with your own caseload.
