A leading Legal 500 Law firm are seeking a Property Litigation solicitor to join their Farnborough office. You will join the firm's Dispute Resolution team as a Residential Property Litigator. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of contentious residential property matters, taking ownership of cases from Landlord & Tenant Disputes β Advising landlords and tenants on leasehold disputes, service charge disagreements, and tenancy issues. Possession & Eviction Proceedings β Handling claims under the Housing Act 1988, drafting notices, and representing clients in court. Breach of Lease & Contract Disputes β Managing cases involving unpaid rent, unauthorised alterations, or other lease breaches. Boundary & Adverse Possession Disputes β Advising clients on land ownership issues, right-of-way conflicts, and adverse possession claims. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) β Engaging in mediation, arbitration, and negotiations to resolve disputes outside of court where possible. Litigation & Court Representation β Drafting pleadings, preparing cases for trial, and representing clients in court and tribunals. Compliance & Regulatory Matters β Ensuring clients meet housing law and landlord-tenant regulations. You must have a solid background in property litigation from a well regarded firm and a good understanding of the relevant legislation.
