Job Description
Firm
A leading UK and international law firm are seeking a Construction Associate (0-3 PQE) to join their London office.
Role
You will join a highly regarded construction team preparing and negotiating all types of construction and development documents. You will work with private and public institutions, property owners and investors, developers, funders, contractors and consultants. The work has a domestic and international nature.
The type of agreements you will prepare will include project specific EPC and EPCM contracts, multi-party and partnering working arrangements and NEC and traditional JCT contracts.
The team also advise on risks in live schemes which can cover pay less notices and advising on issues of insolvency.
Candidate
You will have between 0-3 years of experience in construction law from a law firm in the UK. It is essential you have experience in non-contentious construction law and experience of commercial and/or housing development work will be useful.
You must have a good working knowledge of the various contracts and agreements.
