Criteria:
- Must hold a recognised Teaching Qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Occupational competency in Security, within the last 5 years.
- Hold Level 3 in First Aid; Level 3 Conflict Management and Physical Intervention.
- Hold own Functional Skills Level 2 (or GCSE equivalents) in English, Maths and ICT.
- Experience of delivering coaching and training to Security professionals.
- Driver, with own vehicle (flexible with travel).
- Must possess a sound knowledge of SIA regulations and industry standards.
Duties include:
- Teach / assess learners in a classroom-based environment, who are working towards SIA approved programmes.
- Embed Maths, English and Digital Skills into delivery.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Keep abreast of changes within SIA regulations and industry best practice.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
