Duties
- Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths, Personal Development and Employability to learners within a classroom environment.
- Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
- Be flexible with delivery methods, providing differentiation and adapt quickly to learners' needs.
- Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
- Be engaging and demonstrate energy and passion to motivate/train clients to help learners realise their potential.
- Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
Essential Criteria
- Experience of delivering Functional Skills training to small groups of learners.
- Minimum Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
- Level 3 qualification in Maths and English.
- Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
- Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
