Hospitality Apprenticeship Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Teaching/Training qualification(s)
Location: Home and Field based covering the East Midlands
Salary: £29,100 - £31,200 - salary dependent on qualifications

Essential Criteria
Must have both Front and Back of House occupational competency as follows;
- Must have experience of working as a Chef, up to Kitchen Lead / Chef de Partie level. Must also be able to demonstrate experience of cooking meals from scratch (Gastro)
- Must also have experience of working as an Assistant Manager / Supervisor within a Pub or Restaurant setting.
- Highly desirable; Hotel operations experience - reception front of house, housekeeping etc
- Experience of delivering staff training is highly desirable.
- Ideally hold own NVQ in Hospitality or Cooking related qualification
- Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle, must be flexible with travel.
Duties include
- Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards inHospitality (Front and Back of House specialisms).
- Deliveringvia a blended learning approach(Remote/face-to-face delivery).
- Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
