KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors. We have a new opportunity for a Health and Social Care Assessor and are considering both qualified and unqualified Assessors!
Full training and support will be provided to trainee candidates to achieve a recognised Assessor award.
Location: Home/Field based – managing a caseload of learners across the North East
Salary: £27,000 starting salary, with progression up to £30,000 + BONUS

Essential Criteria:
- Must hold own Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 as a minimum.
- Must have solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) at Senior Carer level or above.
- Ideally hold Assessors award - not essential if you can demonstrate internal training and development experience within a care setting at management level.
- Good ICT skills.
- Confidence in delivering Functional Skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle, with flexibility for travel.
Duties include:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care up to Level 3.
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills.
- Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise, and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.
- Meet KPI’s related to visits, paperwork, and administration.
- Participate in Learner Recruitment to maintain caseload.
