Job Title:

Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 5

Location:

Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across Southampton and surrounding areas

Salary:

£30,000 + Bonus of an additional £5,000 OTE

Type:

Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA – no current assessing experience required.
  • Experience in delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5, with familiarity in Frameworks or Standards.
  • Occupational competency in Health and Social Care at Management level (Elderly).
  • Confident in delivering Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Willing to conduct online remote assessments and face-to-face when required.
  • Good ICT skills.
  • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle.
  • Flexible with travel.

Duties include:

  • Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
  • Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
  • Organize and maintain documentation on learners\’ progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner needs.
  • Meet KPI’s related to visits, paperwork, and administration.
