KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Teaching Assistant Tutor / Trainer Location: West Yorkshire Salary/Package: £28,000 + Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Mileage + more!Type: Full Time, PermanentCriteria for all candidates:
  • Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET) and / or Assessor Award (TAQA / CAVA / A1)
  • Must be an experienced Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience / knowledge of SEND / Autism desirable.
  • Confident to deliver group-based, face to face training.
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Duties include:

  • Deliver Teaching Assistant qualifications, at Level 1 and Level 2, to adult learners in a group-based setting.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
