Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience) Package: Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much more Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: * Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA. * Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above. * Must hold a Level 5 in Residential Childcare. * Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5. * Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as a Manager within a Children’s Home. * Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. * Must be flexible with travel. Duties include: * Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma’s. * Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted. * Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners. * Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress. * Support, advise and motivate learners. * Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
