Job Title: Motor Vehicle Trainer Assessor Location: Home/Field based – Candidates must be flexible with travel Salary: £44,500 (inclusive of car allowance) Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria (for all candidates): * Must hold solid, occupational competency as Vehicle Mechanic. * Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA. * Must be flexible with travel * Hold a recognised qualification in Vehicle Mechanics at Level 3 or above. * An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes. * Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Duties: * Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration. * Assess/mentor learners working towards Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Standards to Level 3. * Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. * Organise and maintain documentation on learners\’ progress. * Support, advise and motivate learners. * Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
