Job Description
- Must have experience of working within the Horticulture sector, having worked at supervisory level or above.
- Ideally hold own Level 2 in Horticulture, Landscaping or similar.
- Hold or willing to work towards COSHH Certification.
- Experience of sustainable horticulture practices and environmental responsibility.
- Must possess strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A passion for training and development.
Duties include:
- To support and guide a group of learners through their vocational qualifications in Horticulture (up to Level 2), embedding wider employability skills.
- Equip your team with practical and theoretical skills, primarily focusing on sustainability (e.g. Recycling, soil health, conservation etc.)
- Ensure a safe and positive environment is fostered within the workshop setting, as your learners undertake work experience.
- Manage and audit inventory and stock levels, to meet training and production demands.
- Completion of required documentation and reports.
