Job Title: Hairdressing Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Derbyshire – Centre based Salary: up to £34,000 Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: Must hold your own Level 3 NVQ in Hairdressing, as a minimum. Must hold solid occupational competency within Hairdressing. Ideally hold a Level 2 NVQ and experience within Nails. Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer. Must be IT Literate.Duties include: Teach/assess learners working towards a Level 2 vocational qualification in Hairdressing to learners within a classroom environment. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners\’ skills knowledge and behaviours Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression. Embedding of Maths and English into sessions. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
