Are you passionate about supporting people to turn their lives around? We have an exciting opportunity to support people in custody and the community to overcome barriers to education, training and employment.
The Role:
- Manage a caseload of participants, delivering employability support through one-to-one and group sessions, including CV writing, job applications and interview preparation.
- Engage, motivate and support participants to build confidence, develop skills and progress into sustained employment.
- Proactively work with employers and key stakeholders to identify and secure suitable job opportunities for participants.
- Work towards and achieve targets and KPIs, including job starts and sustained outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with prisons, probation services, partners and employers, providing support and ongoing in-work guidance.
Criteria:
- Experience of working within a similar Employment Advisor/Coach role within the Employability / W2W sector.
- Proven experience of supporting unemployed participants to gain the skills and knowledge needed to secure sustainable employment.
- Experience of engaging with employers to source opportunities for your caseload.
- Demonstrable experience of working towards KPIs.
- Must be IT literate.
