Job Title: Computer Aided Design (CAD) Tutor Location: York – Centre based Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience) Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in CAD or Engineering Design (or equivalent). Hold – or be willing to work towards – a Level 5 teaching qualification (DTLLS/DET or equivalent/above) Must be proficient in CAD software and engineering design. Experience of delivering CAD instruction. Duties include: Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Computer Aided Design (CAD), focussing on engineering concepts to learners undertaking Level 2 and 3 qualifications. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners\’ skills knowledge and behaviours Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
