KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Close Protection Tutor/AssessorLocation: North West – Must be flexible with travelSalary: circa £29,000Type: Full Time, 12 month FTC (Hours to be discussed with your Recruiter)Essential Criteria for all candidates:

  • Must hold either an Assessors award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) AND/OR a Level 3 Teaching qualification.
  • Must hold all of the following qualifications: Level 3 Delivery of Conflict Management Training; Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention for Close Protection Officers; L3 Close Protection Physical Intervention.
  • Experience of delivering accredited courses is desirable. 
  • Happy to deliver training in-person and online.
  • Hold solid occupational experience within Close Protection.
  • Driving licence and a vehicle – candidate must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of learners working towards Close Protection qualifications up to Level 3.
  • Deliver engaging training and support learners through their qualifications.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners\’ progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.
