Location: Field/Site based - Learners are based across Cheshire to Yorkshire

Salary: £38,900 - £41,900 (inclusive of car allowance) - Salary depending on experience and qualifications

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria (for all candidates):

  • Must hold solid, occupational competency within Engineering Maintenance.
  • Ideally hold an Assessor qualification.
  • Must hold own Engineering qualification, ideally at Level 4 or above.
  • An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

  • Assess/mentor learners working towards Apprenticeships in Engineering Maintenance (Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician; Engineering Manufacturing Technician; Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual and single disciplines).
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

  • Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
