The Role - Senior Marketing Manager

IMPORTANT: We have just won the Channel 4 B-Corp initiative! This role will be instrumental in the creation of our TV advertising campaign. You will be responsible for building and running the marketing function from the ground up. You'll define the strategy, but you'll also execute it. You'll build campaigns, write copy, launch automations, analyze performance, optimize funnels, and create the systems that drive sustainable growth. You are the founder's marketing partner. You bring clarity where there is complexity, momentum where there is friction, and results where there are targets. You take ownership, move quickly, and think commercially. You understand that marketing exists to create value, generate demand, and drive profitable growth.

You will have real ownership from day one, with the autonomy to test ideas, move quickly, and build something meaningful. A big part of this role is helping shape the culture of our marketing and sales teams — setting the standard for work ethic, accountability, energy, and always going the extra mile. This is a genuine opportunity to build and own a function from the ground up while directly influencing the future value and growth of the business.

What You’ll Do

  • This is a hands-on role. You will build and run campaigns across paid media, email, CRM, SEO, content, social media, partnerships, and events.
  • You'll write copy, launch landing pages, create nurture journeys, test messaging, analyze performance, and continually improve results.
  • You will own Klyk's organic growth strategy and content roadmap.
  • You will ensure the website operates as a high-performing conversion engine through landing page optimization, lead magnets, conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and strong user journeys.
  • You will help create thought leadership and marketing content that drives pipeline, not just engagement.
  • You will own the marketing technology stack and build scalable systems that support growth.
  • You will have an AI-first mindset and actively use AI tools to create scalable marketing workflows, automate processes, improve productivity, and increase campaign effectiveness.
  • You will initially be the marketing function. Over time, you will build and develop the team, bringing in the people, skills, and capabilities needed to support the business as it scales.
  • You will help shape the culture of both marketing and sales, creating an environment built around accountability, continuous improvement, high standards, and commercial impact.
  • You will identify and develop strategic partnerships, co-marketing opportunities, and industry relationships that support growth.
  • You will lead Klyk's presence at events, exhibitions, and trade shows, ensuring activity translates into measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • You will work closely with the sales team to support account-based marketing initiatives, enablement materials, and targeted campaigns that accelerate opportunities through the pipeline.

You Could Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 5+ years in B2B marketing with ideally a 1-2 years in a senior role - with experience in a SaaS, Technology or IT related area.
  • Have a proven track record of building and scaling a marketing function, not just running one someone else built.
  • Have strong demand generation expertise: you understand funnels, attribution, paid media, email, SEO, and how they all connect to revenue.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email marketing platforms, and marketing automation (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar).
  • Are a strategic brand thinker who can also roll up their sleeves – comfortable setting the one-year plan and writing the landing page copy in the same week.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset: comfortable with attribution modeling, funnel metrics, and data-driven optimization.
  • Have experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on ROI to senior leadership.
  • Have an AI-first mindset with demonstrable experience of using AI tools to build scalable marketing systems.

Nice-to-haves (none required)

  • Experience marketing IT services, technology, managed services, or SaaS businesses.
  • Comfort operating in a founder-led, fast-moving environment where you’ll need to be both strategic and hands‑on.
  • Experience with P&L ownership or direct commercial accountability for marketing spend and revenue contribution.
  • Experience supporting or marketing into complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles with longer decision timelines.
  • Track record in employer branding, internal communications, or recruitment marketing.
