About Klyk
We’re on a mission to make Circular IT the first choice for every forward-thinking business in the UK. At Klyk, we believe the way companies buy, use, and dispose of technology is broken — wasteful, expensive, and increasingly hard to justify. We’re changing that. As a certified B Corp, we partner with the country’s best scaleups to give them cutting-edge hardware, exceptional IT support, and a smarter way to manage their entire tech lifecycle — saving them money, reducing their carbon footprint, and growing with them every step of the way.
We’re not just a supplier. We’re a tech partner. Our customers — including B Lab UK, Wild, THIS, SURI, and Field Energy — trust us to keep them ahead: with sustainable procurement, fully managed IT and cybersecurity services, and end-to-end asset management that ensures nothing goes to waste.
And the timing has never been better. Tech innovation cycles are plateauing. AI is driving up the cost of rare materials and minerals. Economic headwinds are forcing businesses to do more with less. The conditions that once made buying new the default are giving way to something smarter — and Circular IT is ready to fill that gap. The tailwinds are firmly behind us.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity — and we mean that. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment in Klyk’s growth, as we build the platform that brings IT, hardware, and cybersecurity together under one roof. As our Business Developer, you won’t just be selling a product; you’ll be opening relationships with ambitious, values-led businesses and becoming their long-term technology partner.
The addressable market is enormous. Every scaleup in the UK needs hardware, connectivity, IT support, and cybersecurity — and increasingly, they need a partner who can help them do it responsibly. That’s Klyk. You’ll be going deep with clients, building genuine commercial relationships, and earning accordingly. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy, high-reward role with uncapped earning potential and the chance to shape the sales function from the ground up.
We’re looking for a true Hunter with a modern mindset — someone who brings a scale-first approach to prospecting, uses automation and sales technology to do the work of three people, and knows how to orchestrate high-volume, high-quality outreach campaigns that actually convert.
Location: London, Acton (Hybrid) | Start: ASAP
What you’ll do
- Hunt and Close Business: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You are the engine of our growth. You’ll pitch our full suite of services — from mobile contracts and hardware leasing to complex IT support packages — to COOs, IT Managers, and Heads of People. You’ll be the face of Klyk, translating our sustainability mission into a commercial no-brainer for every prospect you meet.
- Drive Efficiency & Scale: Bring a Sales Ops mindset to your daily hunting. You know how to use tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, and Outreach to generate scale and cut out manual admin. You’ll run data-driven outbound campaigns, test subject lines, iterate on messaging, and optimise your funnel constantly — keeping your energy focused on the high-value conversations that move the needle.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop a channel strategy by partnering with VCs, accelerators, and the B Corp ecosystem to drive referrals. Network relentlessly. You should be the person everyone in the sustainable business space knows — and trusts.
What we’re looking for
You’re a Modern Seller — you run on data, enrichment, and automation, and you know how to build pipeline at scale without sacrificing quality. You love the chase — the process of finding a lead, identifying the right trigger, and converting it into a relationship genuinely excites you. Rejection is fuel, not friction.
You’re commercially sharp — you sell value, not price. You can explain in plain English why Circular IT saves money, reduces risk, and makes a business look good. You’re a self-starter who owns your day, builds your own lists, and doesn’t wait for someone else to hand you a playbook. And you communicate with impact — from a cold email subject line to a boardroom pitch, you know how to make people stop and pay attention.
Nice to haves: experience with CRM automation and sales engagement platforms, and an existing network in the UK startup and scaleup ecosystem.
Why Join Klyk
Multiple entry points, massive upside. Most sales roles give you one product and one pitch. Klyk gives you a platform with several ways into every client — and a business model that rewards you for going deep. The more embedded you become with a client, the more valuable the relationship, and the more you earn.
You’re selling something people actually want to buy. Sustainability isn’t a hard sell anymore — it’s a commercial advantage. Klyk helps businesses save money, protect their data, and reduce their environmental impact. That’s a genuinely easy conversation.
High ownership from day one. You’re the tip of the spear. The revenue you generate directly funds our product and mission. You’ll have the autonomy to build the sales function in your own image as the business scales.
Uncapped earning potential. Strong unit economics, strong commissions, and a market that’s only getting bigger. The ceiling here is yours to set.
Values-led culture. As a B Corp, we prioritise flexibility, fairness, and long-term thinking. We’re building something worth being part of — and we want you to feel that from day one.
