KLOOK is looking for a passionate HRBP to assist our Europe team in building and maintaining an exceptional employee experience in our European locations; UK, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. Working closely with our Senior HRBP, you will ensure that KLOOK’s existing company culture is successfully translated to a truly international employee base, while also enhancing our People Strategy as we continue to expand and evolve our HR team’s support into Western markets.
You will be a key member to support and provide People Services throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, getting them set-up with payroll & benefits, people movement internally, to offboarding.
What You’ll Do (role & Responsibilities)
- Be part of the Klook People Culture team in building and maintaining an exceptional candidate, employee experience and smooth office operations.
- Champion key people processes: create slick processes and ensure people admin activities are accurate and delivered on time.
- Help create great structure in Europe: review and revamp our policies & benefits administration, ensuring that we are legally compliant and improve operations efficiency.
- Support employment visa application processes and relocation arrangements across various countries.
- Ensure best practice is set up and followed in all employee relations activities.
- Support the local onboarding and offboarding processes, facilitate exit interviews and related processes.
- Manage interviews, flexible working requests and support new parents on their journey to parenthood.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, attraction, selection and offer.
- Act as a trusted resource for leaders and employees on a wide variety of HR topics including career development, benefits, time off, and compliance.
- Support the People team by identifying and delivering new initiatives that attract, grow and retain our talent.
- Ensure facilities are operated and maintained in alignment with standards.
What You’ll Need (knowledge / Expertise)
- Employment jurisdiction, and policy knowledge in at least two of the 5 countries that we operate in.
- Experience working at a fast-growing business of 20-200 people.
- Understanding of the challenges of a fast-scaling start-up.
- Able to handle numerical data confidently.
- Can lead on tasks well, with a project planning outlook.
- Experience working with a range of roles/functions and at all levels.
- Experience in operations and processes of people management.
- Confident knowledge of both traditional and progressive sides of the HR world.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Suite.
- Past dealings with visa sponsorship processes is advantageous.
- Experience working in teams that have developed HR strategies & tactics to support business goals.
