  • We are looking for a Full Time Permanent

Second Chef to join the team in our Restaurant in Lady Green Garden Centre.

Our competitive rateof pay is £13.69 per hour.

The hours for this role are 45 per weekover 5 days.

All positions include weekendworking so flexibility is a must.

However we have the added benefitof no evening work and no split shifts.

Our Centre isclosed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these importantdays.

The Role

, you will support the Head Chef in the operation of all areas of food production and cleaning in the kitchen.

You will work as part of a small team under the guidance of the Head Chef and be responsible for the preparation of our fresh ingredients for our full menu range.

What you will be doing as a Second Chef?

  • Prepare fresh ingredients
  • Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
  • Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
  • Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
  • Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
  • Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
