As a General Retail Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers and helping them to make informed purchases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Till operation and serving customers
  • Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
  • Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
  • Assisting customers across the Centre, taking every opportunity to WOW
  • Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential (full training provided)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great teamwork

  • Shift flexibility including weekends
  • The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
  • Friendly, engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service

Hours & Pay

25.5 hours per week over 3 days, including regular weekend shifts. Shift flexibility is required. Pay ranges depend on age and are competitive within the market.
