As Farm Manager you will be responsible for all day to day running of all agricultural operations on the farm. The farm extends to 1050 Hectares of mixed Upland and Inbye grazing and arable concerns, with a current herd of 1,200 head of cross cattle and a herd of 300 head of Pedigree Galloway Cattle.

The applicant must be willing to take on all responsibilities of such an operation and have the appropriate skills for the management of our established team. As part of the role, the successful applicant will work alongside our existing farm shops, restaurants and food halls throughout Scotland and Northern England to continue to maintain and expand supply of quality Pedigree Beef.

Any interested applicant must show ambition, be enthusiastic and driven to maintain and improve our high standards. A requirement for excellent record keeping, a health and safety conscious approach, and a vision for future sustainable farming practices is essential.

A full clean UK drivers licence is essential and a Certificate of Competence for the Welfare of Animals (transport) order 2006 is desirable. A competitive salary and pension based on experience and previous accomplishment is offered alongside live-in accommodation which is a spacious and modernised six-bedroom house.

Any successful candidates will be welcomed to visit only on an appointment basis.
