We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Strikes Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this position are 24.5 per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
The Role
- As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service & create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?
- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
- Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
- Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Till operation and serving customers
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
