The predicted salary is between 20800 - 25440 £ per year.

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Klondyke Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age.

Roles available are 34 hours per week over 4 days & 17 per week over 2 days which is for weekends only. All positions do include regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?

  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
  • Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
  • Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
  • Till operation and serving customers
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
