We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Daleside Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range is dependent on age. The hours for this position are 8 per week over 2 days, which will include regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is a must.
The Role
- Till operation and serving customers
- Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
- Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
- Assisting our customers across the Centre, taking every opportunity to WOW
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Qualifications
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
- Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great teamwork
- Hardworking
- Shift flexibility including weekends
- The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
