We are looking for a Full Time Permanent General Assistant to join the team in our Houghton HallGarden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range isdependent on age.

The hours for this position are 41.5 hours per week over 5days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a GeneralAssistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases within mainly the outdoorareas.

What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?

  • Till operation and serving customer
  • Stock replenishment and merchandising across the outdoor department.
  • Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
  • Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
