We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Delivery Driver/General Assistant to join the team in our Garden Wise Garden Centre. The hours for this position are 24 per week over 3 days: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Our competitive rate of pay for this role is £12.75 per hour. You must be 25 years or older due to insurance restrictions.
The Role
- As a Delivery Driver/General Assistant you will carry out customer deliveries, ensuring safe vehicle operation and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out customer deliveries
- Till operation and serving customers when required
- Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
- Other duties associated with a retail environment
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling
- Forklift licence and a valid driving licence
