We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Catering Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Howdens Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour, dependent on age. The hours for this role are 40 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekend working, so flexibility is a must.

The Role

  • Support in all areas of food production working with fresh ingredients.
  • Prepare hot and cold snacks and deli items to order.
  • Carry out food preparation checks in line with food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Clean all back‑of‑house and kitchen preparation areas and equipment.
  • Close back‑of‑house area each day to company standards.
