We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Area Supervisor to join the team in our Houghton Hall Garden Centre. Our competitive rate of pay for this role is £13.27 per hour. The hours for this position are 42 hours per week over 5 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

  • As a Horticultural Area Supervisor, you must have specialist plant knowledge to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
  • You will also be responsible for supporting the Management Team to ensure the profitable and efficient running of the store.

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Area Supervisor?

  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays.
  • Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers.
  • Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
  • Till operation and serving customers.
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets.
