We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Weekend Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Strikes Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for the role are 15.5 per week on Saturday & Sunday. This is a temporary role until July 2026.
The Role
As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?
- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
- Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
- Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Till operation and serving customers
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
