Part-time weekend Kitchen Porter to join the team in our restaurant at Garforth Garden Centre.
Pay range: £10 – £12.25 per hour, dependent on age. Competitive rates of pay.
Hours: 15 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday).
Role: As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.
Responsibilities:
- Process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
- Dispose of waste using appropriate recycling bins.
- Avoid breakages.
- Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used.
- Maintain working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
- Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
Qualifications:
