We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Weekend Horticultural Assistant to join our team in our Mortonhall Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour depending on age. The hours for this position are 8.5 per week on Saturday or Sunday.
The Role
- As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers and helping them make informed purchases.
- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays.
- Look after and care for our plants, ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers.
- Advise customers on suitable plants and products for their needs.
- Operate the till and serve customers.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Assist customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
- Collect trolleys and shopping baskets.
