We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Holland Arms Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this position are 20 hours per week over 4 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
The Role
- As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays.
- Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers.
- Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Till operation and serving customers.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets.
