We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Assistant Manager to join the team in our Restaurant in Mortonhall Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay for this role is £13.10 per hour. The hours for this role are 45 hours over 5 days. All positions include weekend working so flexibility is a must. However, we have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these important days.

The Role
As the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading in the front of house operation working closely with our chef and kitchen team to prepare and serve our fabulous food with outstanding service and personality.
What you will be doing as a Restaurant Assistant Manager?
- Oversee set up of the front of house, counters and back of house operation each day ensuring readiness for service.
- Coordinate the team in front of house operation to create a welcoming and efficient service for our customers, taking every opportunity to create a Wow experience.
- Ensure staff have detailed knowledge of our mouth-watering menus to share with our customers as well as creating fabulous counter displays.
- Carry out all required Food Hygiene and Health and Safety checks.
- Manage staff rotas to ensure service level requirements are met.
