We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Catering Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant at Mortonhall Garden Centre.
Salary: £10 to £12.25 per hour depending on age. 40 hours per week over 5 days, with weekend work required.
Responsibilities- Support the kitchen team to prepare fabulous meals to order for customers and cover the potwash area when required.
- Assist in all areas of food production using fresh ingredients.
- Prepare hot and cold snacks and deli items to order.
- Carry out food preparation checks in line with food hygiene safety standards.
- Clean back-of-house and kitchen preparation areas and equipment.
- Close the back-of-house area to company standards each day.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great teamwork and the ability to work well under pressure.
