We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Catering Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Howdens Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age.
The hours for this role are 40 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.
The Role
- Assist the kitchen team with the preparation of a variety of meals and snacks.
- Support all areas of food production using fresh ingredients.
- Prepare hot and cold snacks and deli items to order.
- Carry out food preparation checks in line with food hygiene and safety standards.
- Clean all back‑of‑house and kitchen preparation areas and equipment.
- Close the back‑of‑house area each day to company standards.
