We are looking for a Part Time Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in The Crieff Food Company. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this role are 24 per week over 4 days. All positions include weekend working so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.
What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?
- Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
- Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins.
- Take care to avoid breakages.
- Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used.
- Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
- Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
