We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Aircraft Line Maintenance Supervisor (B1) to join our Line Maintenance Team. This role is based at our Line Station at Edinburgh International Airport on a rotating early and late shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety of personnel.
  • Promote/introduce safety initiatives to reduce lost time injuries.
  • Manage environment in accordance with safety management system and quality system.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplined team with strong organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Knowledge of company systems and company procedures.
  • Build strong working relationships with Customers and main interfaces.
  • Carry out inspection/certification privileges as required to meet customer requirements.
  • Learn from incidents and focus on strategic improvements to known root causes (Significant 6).
  • Effective utilisation of resources to perform checks/tasks safely, efficiently and within cost.
  • Seek out new opportunities to develop Line Maintenance revenue and contribution.
  • Motivate, coach and empower others on job skills thus enhancing flexibility and development opportunities.
Selection Criteria
  • Essential
  • Proven experience in an Aircraft Line Maintenance environment with proven people management skills.
  • UK CAA B1 Licensed aircraft engineer with minimum 3 years of certifying experience.
  • Approval to work on Boeing 737-NG and/or Embraer 170/190 with willingness to gain other aircraft types as required.
  • Competent in use of IT systems.
  • Desirable
  • Approval to work on Airbus A320.
  • Good commercial and financial acumen.
