About Klira:
Building the #1 luxury bespoke skincare brand globally.
In 2022 our Founder, Dr. Emma Craythorne, developed SkinSizesâ„¢: allowing us to deliver bespoke skincare at scale for the first time.
SkinSizes™ is the first digital epigenetic skin-typing algorithm; it allows us to decode our clients’ skin then prescribe a bespoke formula of peak-potency actives specifically for them. We deliver this monthly, fresh from the lab to customers’ doorstep within 24 hours of formulation.
Based in central London, this is a unique opportunity to join a small, supportive and ambitious team putting Klira into high-growth mode.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the creation and running of our in-house pharmacy. Until now we have been producing Klira Specials in partnership with a specialist compounding pharmacy, but as we scale we are moving production in-house.
You will be a highly experienced senior pharmacist registered with GPhC and with experience in compounding dermatology specials. As Superintendent you will be responsible for the overall professional and clinical management of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and ensuring safe operation, medicine handling and dispensing within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Compounding Klira Specials: You will be responsible for the formulation and quality of Klira Specials, ensuring a consistent output with exacting standards
- Staff management: recruitment and management of your team, supervising and training pharmacy staff to uphold standards. Leading the clinical team by providing guidance and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Medication management: Overseeing the safe and accurate dispensing of formulations including prescription only medical ingredients, including monitoring drug interactions and potential adverse effects.
- Quality assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality control systems to minimise errors and ensure medication safety
- Compliance with regulations: You will be legally accountable for the pharmacy operations and ensuring all relevant pharmaceutical laws and regulations are adhered to, including reporting.
- Business operations: Contributing to our business strategy, including inventory management, cost control and service development.
- Auditing and monitoring: Regularly reviewing pharmacy practices through audits to identify areas for improvement
