Food & Beverage Production Sales Manager

We are working exclusively on a retained basis with Klipspringer who are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Production Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive their sales strategy. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving sales targets and departmental goals. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement the Food & Beverage Production sales strategy, including setting objectives, measurables, and ways of working.
  • Review team performance regularly, reporting findings to the Sales & Marketing Director and implementing improvements.
  • Manage resource planning and budgeting within the team.
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Lead and motivate team members daily to achieve department KPIs.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance and discuss training or support needs.
  • Provide hands-on support with sales opportunities, including face-to-face meetings, Teams calls, and phone calls.
  • Collaborate with other managers to synergise and achieve company targets.
  • Manage daily team huddles and day-to-day resourcing to ensure adequate sales support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading and coaching a sales team.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales objectives and effectively reporting on performance.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning skills at both departmental and business levels.
  • Exceptional communication and team management skills, capable of maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Experience in handling sales opportunities and interacting professionally with customers.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and become an ambassador for the company’s sales methodology.
