We are looking for an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support a global department, acting as the primary HR advisor to the functional Executive and leadership team. This role is pivotal in translating business strategy into a targeted people strategy, enabling sustainable performance, organisational health, and employee engagement across group companies.

The HRBP will lead workforce and succession planning, organisational design and restructuring, and drive the implementation of core people initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, deep HR expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management to influence, advise, and guide senior leaders in balancing business and employee needs while mitigating people-related risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership & People Planning: Act as a strategic partner to the functional Executive and senior leaders, translating business strategy into clear, actionable people plans. Drive the annual people planning cycle, including workforce planning, talent forecasting, capability analysis, and succession planning. Anticipate and respond to organisational shifts and challenges with proactive people strategies.
  • Organisation Design & Change: Lead and support organisational design and restructure efforts, working closely with business leaders to ensure alignment of structure with strategy. Provide expert change management support to embed new ways of working and navigate periods of transformation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Support: Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to the functional Executive, providing strategic input and operational support across all people matters. Represent both the People Team and the functional area, building strong, collaborative relationships to ensure seamless two-way communication, insight sharing, and aligned priorities.
  • Employee Engagement & Performance: Champion and embed initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing across global teams. Drive a culture of performance and accountability through effective performance management frameworks and leader enablement.
  • Employee Relations & Risk Management: Provide expert guidance and oversight on complex employee relations matters, ensuring resolution in line with best practice, legal standards, and company policy. Identify and mitigate people-related risks through early intervention, education, and policy governance.
  • People Expertise & Governance: On occasions, you may be required to be an escalated point of contact as a subject matter expert (SME) on HR policies, employment law, and best practices globally and regionally. Ensure consistent and compliant application of people processes, policies, and practices within the function.
  • Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement: Leverage people analytics and insights to inform decision-making and influence outcomes. Continuously improve HRBP practices, tools, and approaches to enhance impact and efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; CIPD or similar HR qualification preferred.
  • Significant HR experience, including proven experience within an HRBP role supporting global or matrixed teams.
  • Proven experience in organisational design, workforce and succession planning, and leading through change.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, employee relations, and HR policy across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy with commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a strong executive presence.
  • Data-literate with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ambiguity and complexity.
What You’ll Bring
  • A strategic mindset paired with hands-on delivery capability.
  • Passion for people, with a commitment to driving high-performing, inclusive cultures.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively, influence at all levels, and act as a change leader.
  • A collaborative spirit and a track record of building strong partnerships across business and HR teams.
