As Payments Marketing Manager, you will lead the go-to-market, messaging, and campaign strategy for our embedded payments solution tailored specifically to the operational and cash flow needs of automotive, tyre distribution, and logistics businesses. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to build and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness, activation, and usage of payments as part of our ERP solution. This is a hands-on role where sector expertise, creativity, and execution all matter.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the marketing strategy for embedded payments within the automotive, tire, and logistics sectors across the globe.
- Craft industry-specific messaging and positioning that highlights how embedded payments solve sector pain points (e.g. B2B credit, payment reconciliation, mobile invoicing).
- Drive multi-channel campaigns (email, webinars, paid media, content, events) that increase payments adoption across new and existing ERP customers.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales to launch payment features, enable the go-to-market team, and ensure alignment with buyer needs.
- Partner with industry experts to run co-branded campaigns, webinars, and educational content.
- Generate customer success stories that demonstrate payment ROI in real-world operational settings (e.g. garages, freight companies, tire wholesalers).
- Support sales enablement with collateral, objection handling guides, and sector-specific decks.
- Measure and optimise performance across metrics such as payment adoption, usage, cost per acquisition, and contribution to ARR.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform marketing strategy.
- 4–8 years of B2B SaaS or fintech marketing experience, ideally with ERP, payments, or embedded finance exposure.
- Experience with embedded payments, card processing, invoicing solutions, or B2B payment platforms.
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, with an ability to simplify financial/technical topics for operational audiences.
- Strong understanding of the buyer journey and how to move customers from awareness to adoption and expansion.
- Comfortable working across teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success) and managing relationships with external partners or payment providers.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads.
- Strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket, tire distribution, or logistics industries—either through direct experience or relevant marketing work.
- Knowledge of the B2B payments ecosystem: acquirers, PSPs, interchange, reconciliation.
- Background working with trade customers, B2B retail networks, or dealer groups.
