We are entering an exciting phase of growth, introducing agentic AI capabilities to make our products smarter, more adaptive, and future-ready—helping customers automate decisions, optimise workflows, and respond intelligently at scale.

As Product Manager (Transport), you will own the product strategy, portfolio roadmap, and commercial success of Klipboard’s transport and logistics solutions, including the Vigo platform, which powers planning efficiency, world-class customer communication, invoicing, and operational insight. You will set clear direction across multiple product areas, and work closely with Engineering, GTM, Data, and Executive leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will not be responsible for day-to-day sprint execution; instead, you will set the vision, guardrails, and success criteria that enable teams to deliver at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a compelling long-term product vision for Transport, aligned to Klipboard’s overall strategy. Identify growth opportunities across on-premise and SaaS solutions, including modernisation, platform consolidation, and AI-led differentiation. Translate customer needs, market trends, and competitive insight into clear strategic priorities.
  • Portfolio & Roadmap Ownership: Own and govern a multi-year product roadmap spanning multiple teams and initiatives. Ensure investment is balanced across innovation, platform resilience, technical debt, security, and regulatory needs. Make prioritisation decisions that maximise customer and commercial impact.
  • Commercial Accountability: Own the commercial success of the Transport product portfolio, including revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term profitability. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. Use data and market insight to inform build-vs-buy decisions and investment trade-offs.
  • AI & Innovation Leadership: Lead the introduction of agentic AI capabilities into transport workflows, such as planning optimisation, intelligent exception handling, predictive insights, and automated customer communication. Ensure AI initiatives are practical, ethical, secure, and deliver tangible customer value. Champion experimentation while maintaining enterprise-grade standards.
  • Leadership & Governance: Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and senior product leaders. Set clear standards for product discovery, documentation, decision-making, and outcome measurement. Provide executive-level visibility on progress, risks, dependencies, and performance.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Act as a senior product partner to Engineering, Data, Security, and GTM leaders. Engage directly with strategic customers to validate direction, test assumptions, and inform roadmap decisions. Represent Product in executive forums and business planning cycles.
  • Compliance, Security & Platform Resilience: Ensure products meet data protection, security, and standards-based integration requirements. Balance innovation with platform stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in Product Management within SaaS, ERP, or enterprise software.
  • Proven experience leading Product Managers and owning multi-product portfolios.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, packaging, and GTM collaboration.
  • Experience working in complex, regulated, enterprise environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across Engineering, Data, Security, and GTM.
AI & Innovation
  • Practical experience applying AI or automation within enterprise workflows.
  • Understanding of the opportunities and constraints of AI in production systems.
Nice to Have
  • Logistics, transport, or warehousing domain experience.
  • Experience modernising legacy/on-premise products to SaaS platforms.
