RAM Tracking is a market-leading telematics business providing a SaaS proposition for 10,000 SME customers across the UK, Europe and North America. Established in 2004, RAM has grown to be a key player in vehicle tracking, supported by a forward-thinking management team, and ongoing investment in innovation, technology, and people.
What weโre looking for
We are expanding our internal development team to deliver new products and services and support RAMโs next growth phase. We have migrated from a legacy hosting provider and static infrastructure to a scalable AWS environment and are seeking technically skilled and creative full-stack developers to join our team. Our roadmap includes high-volume data processing for IoT devices, reverse geocoding and mapping on our tracking portal, APIs, connected cameras, driver assist and mobile apps, all backed by software engineering best practices, design and performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Specific skills weโre looking for:
- At least 1-year commercial development experience
- Agile software development
- Frontend React (or similar JavaScript frameworks)
- Express/NodeJS
- Java (Spring Boot)
- MySQL
- Dynamo
- Docker
- API development, Web Sockets/Node JS
- App/Web wireframing and UI/UX
- Working on AWS cloud hosted infrastructure
- CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with high-volume Kinesis data stream processing and DynamoDB
