The Data Intelligence Sales Executive is responsible for driving new revenue growth through the sale of Klipboard's data intelligence, VRM and data cleaning services. With a strong grounding in automotive data, the role will expand dataâled propositions into other Klipboard sectors, while proactively identifying and developing new revenue streams. This role is highly commercial, externally focused and relationshipâdriven, requiring the ability to build senior partnerships with organisations such as EUCON, NielsenIQ, insurers and other data ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Growth & New Revenue
- Identify, develop and close new revenue opportunities for data intelligence, VRM and data cleaning services.
- Proactively seek out and validate new dataâdriven revenue streams, products and partnerships.
- Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline across automotive and adjacent sectors.
- Own sales targets and revenue outcomes for assigned data products and services.
- Sector & Market Expansion
- Leverage deep experience in automotive data to strengthen Klipboard's market position.
- Extend data propositions into other Klipboard sectors, tailoring value propositions to different customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and data opportunities across Europe and beyond.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong, senior relationships with partners including EUCON, NielsenIQ, insurers and other data providers and consumers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership models that deliver sustainable value.
- Represent Klipboard as a credible data partner in external forums, meetings and negotiations.
- Customer & Solution Selling
- Work closely with customers to understand their data challenges and commercial objectives.
- Translate complex data capabilities into clear, compelling commercial value propositions.
- Collaborate with product, data and technology teams to shape marketâready offerings.
- Internal Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with Product, Data Services, Technology and Marketing teams to support goâtoâmarket execution.
- Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and data service evolution.
- Support the development of sales collateral, pricing models and propositions.
- Proven experience in a commercial sales or business development role focused on data, analytics or data services.
- Strong domain knowledge of automotive data, including VRMâbased services and data quality.
- Demonstrable track record of identifying and closing new revenue streams.
- Experience selling complex, dataâled solutions to enterprise customers.
- Strong relationshipâbuilding skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to articulate ROI and business value.
- Selfâstarter mindset with a proactive, hunterâled approach to sales.
- Experience working with or selling to insurers, data aggregators or market intelligence providers.
- Knowledge of nonâautomotive sectors such as distribution, wholesale or retail.
- Familiarity with data partnerships, licensing models and usageâbased pricing.
- Experience operating across UK and European markets.
