Working within the PSG Autopart Implementation team as an Autopart Implementation Consultant, the candidate will implement and support the delivery of Autopart ERP projects and ad-hoc work. The Consultant will deliver core functionality within Autopart through the Capability Lead programme and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery by providing feedback to the Centre of Excellence and Management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of implementation projects for the Automotive suite of products.
• Provide training and consultancy for customers.
• Resolve or assist in the resolution of customer problems and queries arising from implementation and live operation of software at customer sites.
• Attend project meetings with internal teams or clients to gain or impart knowledge on project status and document details as appropriate.
• Assist with ongoing Automotive support, handling support calls from clients and, when required, processing support work either office-based or remotely.
• Liaise with customers to define or help define requirements and specifications for software modifications.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, Scotland, Ireland and possibly other offices; a valid UK driving license and access to a suitable vehicle are required.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure successful software implementation.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Experience and/or Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in ERP implementation.
• Successful implementation of multiple end-to-end projects.

Essential:

• Experience working as a consultant for a software house in project delivery, with customer-facing training and workshop presentations.
• Demonstrable configuration, installation and implementation experience relating to ERP Go Live’s.
• Excellent customer service and customer-facing skills to work with customers on- and off-site.
• Proficiency in the Office 365 suite of products.

Desirable:

• Industry knowledge of the Automotive After Market.
• Knowledge of SQL Database platforms for ERP solutions or similar.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure with limited direction to complete tasks timely and accurately.
• Professional and structured communication up to board level.
• Ability to investigate issues and generate systematic, logical solutions.
• Maintain professional communication at all levels and project a professional image.
• Adaptable and able to work as an effective team member; organized with workload management responsibility.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and obtain customer sign-off for consultancy work undertaken.
• Ability to delegate and supervise activities when appropriate.

Other:

• Role requires a valid UK driving license and a suitable vehicle to travel.
