The Corporate Development Director will support the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development by leading & managing M&A transaction processes to ensure their successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and run day-to-day execution of corporate development projects and M&A transactions
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external advisors and internal teams
- Develop and review detailed financial models to support M&A decisions
- Coordinate due diligence process, including financial analysis, risk assessment and operational evaluation
- Identify and assess key transaction considerations and develop workable and pragmatic solutions
- Prepare and present transaction materials for the Executive team and Board
- Run evaluation of M&A target opportunities
- Maintain updated view of M&A pipeline opportunities
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Experience and/or Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a transaction environment in in-house Corporate Development or Big 4 transaction services team
- Strong deal management & communication skills with the ability to engage & influence senior colleagues
- Strong teamwork and collaboration
- Expert ability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Detailed understanding of valuation methodologies – building & reviewing financial models (e.g. DCFs)
- Be a growth-company and growth-mindset oriented relationship builder
- High EQ with excellent written and verbal communication skills
